The last couple of months have been very busy at Airfield; we have just planted over 2,000 native Irish trees as part of our habitat development plan for the estate. Our new lambs are jumping in the fields, the 40,000 planted spring bulbs are beginning to splash their colours all our around the gardens. Airfield hosts an extensive arts programme including concerts, theatre, exhibitions and a variety of workshops and at the moment preparations are in full swing for our Bealtaine programme, including an evening with Des Geraghty on May 1st which is a celebration of the labour movement through music and story, and our Family Fun Day on the 4th May.
