ROWALLANE Garden, Saintfield, will be a hive of activity in the coming weeks with a series of events including a Spring Plant Fair on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May.
The Peat-Free Spring Plant Fair takes place from 12 Noon - 5pm and a wide range of plants raised in peat-free compost will be on offer. The National Trust Rowallane gardening staff will have their very own plant stand, selling a wide range of plants that can be seen growing within the wonderful garden. Over half a dozen local nurseries will also have stalls, so there will be plenty of choice for all and the Hypericum Tearoom will be open serving light lunches and refreshments.
"The garden is having a fabulous spring season this year and will be in full blossom at the time of the Plant Fair. Visitors will be able to enjoy both the garden and Plant Fair for retail therapy! The Spring Ground and Rock Garden will be looking great in May" said Head Gardener, Averil Milligan.
Normal admission rate applies with free entry for members. For further information, please contact Rowallane on 028 9751 0131. For details of forthcoming events at Rowallane, please visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk.
