Avondale House & Forest Park
Avondale House, the birthplace and home of Charles Stewart Parnell (1846 - 1891) one of the greates political leaders of Irish history.
Set in a magnificent forest park of over 500 acres containing a continental garden style Arboretum. The exotic tree walk and river walk are just some of the walks to experience during your visit.
This beautiful Georgian house designed by James Wyatt and buil in 1777 contains fine original plasterwork and furniture belonging to the Parnell Family.
